Grab Your Golf Travel Case Right Now

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Robert Riles asked:

For many avid golfers, golf travel case is as indispensable as any other golf tools. Having the right golf case is important for most golfers, indeed.

If the golf travel case you have is too big for you it becomes a burden. If the case is too small on the other hand it literally becomes useless because the main reason why you have them in the first place is not achieved.

Golf travel case comes in a wide variety of sizes, designs and colors. They come in a number of features, as well. If you are a lady golfer, perhaps a light-weight not too bulky one is the right pick for you. But if you are a male golfer a bulky one is a practical choice indeed.

The choice of design and appearance is likewise gender-based for the most part. A dark-colored, simple golf case is right for a man while a trendy, flashy one is a good choice for a woman.

Age has got to do with it, too. For older players, simple, monochromatic golf travel case is just right but a rather eye-catchy one is fine among younger golfers.

Since golf courses are commonly far from residential areas and that a golf course covers vast acres of land, bringing a golf case is nearly mandatory. Golf travel case is indeed a must-have tool in golfing in this sense.

Furthermore, having a golf travel case gives your clubs more protection. It also allows you to carry your clubs and stuff with ease.

Golf travel case can come in various features. There are golf cases with straps. There are also those with stand-up features. There are cases with as many as 14 sections. Golf case may also differ in length. Golf cases have accessory pockets for your must have golf stuffs.

Though many golfers nowadays have opted to mechanize the way they carry their golf clubs and tools, it is still exciting to do golfing the traditional way. In addition, using carry bags and cases allows you to tone your physical condition a bit further which is one of the main reasons why you play golf anyway.

Whatever your preference in buying golf travel case is, there is surely one golf case just right for you. Big, small, heavy or lightweight, your choice in selecting a golf case will largely depend on your taste.

Right now, there are a growing number of stores that specialize in offering golf travel case. The Internet is one sure place where these stores can be contacted. May that be a used golf case, a brand new or a discount golf case; you can find what you are looking for online. All you have to do is to surf the Internet and discover the many selections you have in terms of buying your golf case. You can also drop by at golf shops near you and be able to literally see what they have in store for you.

So, may your golfing be for mere leisure or for competitive plays having your own golf travel case allows you to cut down your worries in half in terms of safekeeping and carrying your clubs and other equipment.

Has anyone had experience (good/bad?) with Touredge Golf irons for men, the set w/the hybrid 3 and 4 clubs?

shelsopinion asked:

I am in my early 60s and I’m told I have a medium or slightly under medium swing speed. I’m looking to replace the original set of no-name irons I bought eight years ago when first I started to play golf. Read a couple of articles about the Touredge irons, but I’d like to find out if someone has any thoughts about that particular set, which I found in a local golf shop for what seemed like a reasonable sale price. Maybe they are last year’s model, but that’s OK if they do the job. They’ve gotta be an improvement over my old set, I would think. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Refining your Game With a Golf Net

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Alex Bezborodko asked:

A great way to improve your golf game is to buy a golf net. Golfers invest in golf nets for a variety of reasons depending on their skill level, their ability to practice, and their own goals for their golf game. A golf practice net is a great way to improve your accuracy, your swing, and even your stance. A golf net will allow you to practice all of the elements crucial to your golf game in just about any space, big or small. A golf cage net will also allow avid golfers to have a place to practice their swing even when they can’t get to the course or the driving range.

Because golfers will use their golf nets in a variety of areas, one can find a variety of golf ball net solutions. When you go to any golf shop or even shop online you’ll find that there is a golf hitting net in just about every price range, which is good news because you’ll typically be able to find a quality product that will help you achieve the desired results and changes to your golf game. If you aren’t necessarily shopping for a golf net to improve your game but just to have the ability to practice anywhere at anytime, you’ll also find that there is golf practice net that will fit your needs as well as your budget.

If you are shopping for a simple golf training net you’ll likely find something like the Chip Shot Pop UP Chipping Net. This is a very simple net that will simply act as a stopper for all of your golf balls. While this product does not have a target in the rear of it, it does offer one the ability to see where their ball will land after each and every swing so you can still practice your swing, your stance, as well as your accuracy. This type of net will usually cost about $30.00 and can be used as an indoor golf net as well as an outdoor net.

If you want something a bit more upscale you can always go for the P-Net Golf Practice Net. This golf net offers a target as well as small sides to help keep the balls in the net even if they go off to the sides a bit. The target at the back of this golf net will help improve accuracy and build confidence with a new stance, a new swing, or the beginner that just wants to get a grasp of all of the fundamentals of golf. This type of golf practice net will run a bit more, costing about $110.00 but is well worth it for those that want a professional quality golf net at their disposal.

A wrap around golf net is a great idea. This type of golf net almost looks like a little dome. This half dome like construction helps to catch miss-hits for the golfer so that chasing down balls does not take up all of ones practice time. The wrap around golf net is actually a three sided net or tent like structure and is one of the most useful golf nets that you can buy. Many of these products simply pop right up and golf down quickly so that it can be taken anywhere at a moments notice.

A golf net really is a great tool for any golfer and you’ll find that most experts have their very own golf net to further their skills. A great golfer is one that realizes he or she must always improve their game to stand out, and a golf net is a great way to practice your golf game in the comfort of your own home or backyard. When you consider how much a net can help you improve or gain confidence in your golfing abilities you’ll find that it is a necessary investment for any golfer.

MmM asked:

That fancy golf club on Mount Pleasant Rd has the best gingersnap cookies. I’m not a member. I only went a few times with my ex. I asked thier old pastry chef (she has a cake shop in Burlington) but she wouldnt give me the recipe (said it wasnt hers to give) If you know anyone who works there, their kitchen takes students interns, Please give me the recipe. Every year before the holidays I try to find it. Though I never tried actually calling the place and asking. (Too embarassed) I don’t think they’d give it to me.

All The Secrets To Buying Discount Golf Equipment Online

Friday, April 4th, 2008
golf shop
Dane Stanton asked:

When people think of golf they think of a sport that is based more around mental capabilities than physical aspects, however there is also one another part of golf that is perhaps the most necessary and that is the equipment a play carries with him or her. Whether it be the set of clubs he or she is using to play with, the balls they choose to hit, gloves, shoes and so many more, golf equipment is a huge part of the game. But can every afford to buy the best equipment? Put straight, no they cannot, but don’t fret. There is a way to buy discount golf equipment online and you can save vast sums of money doing so.
As we all know, there isn’t a cheap piece of equipment that goes along with playing golf. If you take a look at the price of an average set of clubs in your local golf store, you will notice that the price is most of the time over your budget. There are many discount golf stores available all over the country, but if you could not be bothered looking for one nearby, do what everyone else is doing, search the internet.
There are a myriad of discount golf stores online and all of them will do anything to get you to buy something from their catalog, so use this to your advantage. Ask these stores if they can improve upon their current prices. Shop around first to see if there is the same piece of equipment for sale somewhere else that’s cheaper. This way you can get these discount golf stores to bring down their prices. Of course you aren’t going to be able to reduce the price of a set of golf clubs, for example, by a couple hundred dollars, but you are going to save ’some’ money that you can spend on other equipment, like golf balls, because we all know you can’t have enough balls right?
Quality and Price
Any seller can give you discount golf products at any time of the year but stocking up at end-of-season summer clearance sales might be a good idea when golf shops are getting rid off inventory before winter.
Brands such as Nike, Adidas, Mizuno and Callaway sometimes have promotions and discounts on all their golf products, ranging from their golf clubs to golf balls and golf shirts to shoes. These discount golf products do not lack in quality just because they are on sale, as the same amount of effort is put into each product because they are backed by the manufacturer’s brand name.
Accessories
You could save money on golf apparel as even though it looks great to be in correct golf gear from head to toe, it is not necessary for your game. So do not scrimp on golf clubs. Rather, wear regular sports clothes on the course and save.
Also, know where to draw the line between fancy extras and core equipment. Often, salespeople might explain how a particular feature is a must-have, but your homework or advice from golfing buddies can prove otherwise.
Let me tell you this, there are also many discounted golf accessories, like golf bags and shoes that have already been launched during a particular time of high demand. Of course the market has then slumped a little and they have been forced to sell their equipment for less. There are so many ways to buy discount golf equipment and it’s imperative that you take advantage of all the offers you can find.

Buy Cheap Golf Shoes And Have Money For Other Equipment

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Ditto White asked:

When you are trying to decide how to assemble your golf package, you need to look at what exactly you need and weigh all alternatives in order to make wise purchases. If you are shopping on a budget then you need to take time to decide what you can spend little on in order to be able to spend more on other items. These other items could include tees, gloves, clubs and a bag.

Shoes are one good item to save money on. You can buy other better items by saving on good inexpensive golf shoes. You can use the extra money you save to buy new clubs, golf sportswear and other specialty equipment items.

Now, you’ve probably heard before that cheap usually means low quality, but it does not have to be that way. If you take the time to not only shop for price but examine the shoe, you can have both.

Low Price is Not Indicative of Low Quality with Golf Shoes

Golf shoes can be found in different price ranges and are never indicative of the quality of the shoes. However, there are limitations. If you are limiting yourself to only spending $20 on golf shoes then you will most definitely have problems finding quality one.

But there are many vendors who offer low prices on golf shoes and you can still find quality shoes at these prices. For example, shoe vendors like Adidas, Footjoy and Nike all have specials and great price offers that will give you the opportunity to save money and direct that money to buying better equipment for your golf package.

The Internet is also great for finding inexpensive golf shoes if you want to see more than just these brands. The Internet will also give informative descriptions on the brand you are considering and if you cannot find that information, you might need to shop for another brand.

Where Do You Find the Cheap Golf Shoes?

The Internet is a useful venue for finding all your golf supplies, apparel and equipment. This is in addition to the physical outlets where you can shop for these same items. The cheap golf shoes can be either found at the outlets or on any one of the numerous web sites selling these products.

Just by doing an Internet search you can find numerous different golf sites selling equipment and accessories to help build a total golf package and at a much reduced cost in comparison to what you would spend at a specialty golf shop. Also, when you shop online, you will likely find items that you would never find in specialty golf shops. When you shop online, you can do it all right in your home. All of this contributes to finding the right inexpensive golf shoes that will fit the purpose you need and at a price that is within your budget.
