I have a whole set of Prince golf clubs and have been using them steady for a while. The grips that I have on now are starting to rub off onto my glove, and I think they are at least 5 years old.

I really want some new grips, and I want to get it done professionally at a golf shop. ( Example: Nevada Bob’s)

How much would it cost to get all of my clubs done? I would say that there are 12 clubs including my putter.

Just a rough estimate would be great!

I’ve always used the “hacker clubs”. I shoot mid 90’s to low 100’s. Typical righty fade/slice on most shots, though I do hit some really good shots mixed in. I’ve been going to golf shops, etc looking around and asking questions. Seems the consensus is that I need game improvement irons? Also, that I should definitely get fitted for clubs. I’ve been recommended: Taylor Made RAC OS2’s, Taylor Made r7 Draw, Adams a3 OS, Cobra S9, Callaway Big Bertha 06 and 08, Nike Slingshot OSS. There are so many choices and things to consider. I really want to work toward shooting in the 80’s and I really want to make my new club purchase worthwhile and get the right clubs for me. Anyone (especially serious golfers) who can tell me anything, either advice in general as to what I should be looking for, or any club recommendations (either the ones I’ve listed or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated. The United States is blessed with many beautiful public courses, and the state of Michigan is no exception. In this article, we’ll review some of the best courses in Michigan.

1. Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course which, as the name suggests, is in Arcadia, has been described by Golf Digest as being the best public golf course in the state. The course, which covers 245 acres and is bounded on the West by Lake Michigan, is a daily-fee golf club which is open to the public every day of the week (weather permitting) from mid-April to mid-November.

6. Eagle Eye Golf Course which is in East Lansing, is a highly rated course that includes challenging water obstacles and classic bunkering.

7. Forest Dunes Golf Course in Roscommon has won many prestigious awards.

8. Lakewood Shores Resort in Oscoda is home to three golf courses: “The Gailes”, “Blackshire” and “The Serradella”. The resort itself has been named as one of the best bargains in the country by Golf Magazine, and the Gailes course is especially highly regarded, having been named as one of best public golf courses in the country by Golf Digest.

9. Red Hawk Golf Course in East Tawas, is a unique 205 acre course where each hole is designed to be completely different from the others, while all holes nevertheless flow naturally with the rolling terrain of the course.

10. Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Course is located in Clarkston, about 30 miles (48 kilometres) North of Detroit. The course itself is set in 350 acres of rolling woodland, and also offers a full service driving range, a practice center and a golf shop.

11. Tullymore Golf Course, which is located in Stanwood, has been related as one of the best in both the state of Michigan, and in the country over all. The course is set within a tranquil 800 acre site containing both woodland and lakes.
