Do I need to be a member of a private club to shop in their pro shop?

I’m assuming that it depends on what club I go to. There seems to be only private clubs around where I live, and the public golf courses don’t carry any decent shirts, clubs, etc.

The pro shops would welcome the business just give them call or credit card instead of charging to club account most pro.

Provided you can get into the grounds there should be no problem with shopping at a pro shop at a private country club. I am sure the pro would welcome you with open arms since sales of golf products are down from previous years.
