How do I get sand out of the shaft of a golf club?

I recently purchased some used golf clubs on Ebay. Some of them seem to have sand or rocks in the shafts; i can hear it running through the shaft when I turn it over. Can anyone please tell me how to get it out if possible? If not, could anyone please tell me how much I would have to pay a repair shop to fix this problem? Thank you.

      why not order a new one, I have ordered a set of ap2 irons from golfshopping18.com, they are really of great items, good deal.save your money to repair…..

      The grip removed and replacedshould only be few.

      For one how the repair shop and have them take off the best way so you dont ruin anything.
