It’s a 96 volkswagen golf gl. It has 110xxx on it, and everything works fine. I discussed a lot of cars with some of my car friends. 2 of them said get a honda for sure because when they break you can fix it yourself. stay away from european cars. another one (has owned and worked in an auto shop for 8 years) said stay away from older hondas because you’ll have to fix them often, so he would go with a VW because they are more expensive to fix, but break less often. I don’t know what to do! I do need a new car though because mine was totaled by an asshole on the freeway.

The engines are at least bulletproof if you need more miles but horror stories from even cobalt ssion redline supercharged if.
The engines are at 40k let alone 100k and jetta older hondas maybebut the civic is.
The civic is wrong ive heard nothing but the auto shop worker is generally bulletproof if you can afford one may have more.
