Lady Golfer asked:

I plan to learn golf here in Ho Chi Minh City and found the above brand new golf sets selling for US$510 and $420, respectively. Both have 12 clubs (1 driver @ but shaft of XIX is abt. 2 inches longer, head of XIX is larger and heavier) , wood 4&7 for XIX, wood 3&5 for Macgreg ,irons 5-9 , sand wedge, pitching wedge, rescue wedge (Macgreg), approach wedge(XIX), putter. XIX is supposedly a Singaporean brand. Both are made in China and have graphite shafts. The Macgreg is lighter. Have tried both in the shop and the Macgreg seems to be easier to handle. Are these good brands and models? My height is 5′ 2 1/2″ so I’ll have to check if the shop has the standard shaft length for either brand.
