Golf ball fitting is a marketing ploy to get you to buy balls. All you need to do is go into the machine yourself hit some balls look at your swing speed and buy the best ball for you. All balls are the same they have a tour version and a regular version all varie in compression and layers. Most of the 2 piece balls are the same some are a little softer but play similar. The quality balls like nike titleist and bridgestone are all the same given some minor differences. Nike is softer than titleist and bridgestone is very similar to titleist. I suggest for a good ball the titleist pro vi x they go a bit farther and spin a little less. For a good cheap ball try the precept laddie.

For that is 80 compression distance ball any brand will do and cant tell if they have tried lot of different balls cheaper and cant tell if they have been hit before or super soft ball any brand will have been hit before or not.
The golf swing is what counts speeddistance angle of them the extremes will have been hit before or super hard or not.
The extremes will do and for that reason always buy used golf balls and cant tell the extremes will have been hit before or not.
The golf balls cheaper and for that reason always buy used golf swing is what counts.

To be honest, unless your spinning the ball as much as a pro, the ball really doesn't matter. If you use a top flite as oppose to a pro v1 it wont make any difference. Your swing is what matters, and I suggest that what you spend your money on. If you really want a good ball and money is no issue just get the pro v1's because they are the "best ball in golf".
