Paint chip in new golf driver?
October 5th, 2008 | by admin |friskoballs asked:
I just bought a new driver and it had a small paint chip on the top edge. What should i do about it? if i bring it into a golf shop to fix it will the repair last a long time and will it look like brand new? Also how much does it cost to fix just a small chip? Will it be bad if i dont fix it and i play in the rain?
HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO FIX IT AT A GOLF PRO SHOP? WOULD THE REPAIR LAST FOR THE LIFE OF THE CLUB?
the paint chip came with the club, i did not chip it.

The rain if you saw my clubs youd know that slight chip wouldnt bother me keep them meticulously clean and regrip as need or want but they look far from new and prefer that somehow.
The rain if you play in the head is probably nonferrous so it shouldnt rust if you.

You can get them custom painted, or take them to a car body shop some of them paint clubs. You can send it back to the factory and have them refinished also. Or just live with it, if you clipped the ball once your bound to do it again.
